Project LEO website
A new website showcasing one of the UK’s most ambitious, wide-ranging and innovative energy trials.
We worked with a consortium including SSEN, University of Oxford and Low Carbon Hub to design a new website for Project LEO.
Key to this project was understanding how the different audiences – from general public to consortium members, government and energy sector professionals – would interact with the various levels of content. We therefore created a content hierarchy which allows users to dip a toe into content for an overview, before diving deeper into the technical detail.
The WordPress-based CMS with custom blocks and content types allows the team to add all the usual content types – including news, reports, case studies and events. The custom blocks give admins the freedom to build up their own pages, while staying within a site-wide consistent design pattern.
